Rob Turner

Head of Procurement Operations, John Lewis Partnership


Rob Turner is the Head of Procurement Operations at the John Lewis Partnership where he leads all sourcing, governance, assurance and systems development of the £1.5bn GNFR spend across John Lewis and Waitrose. He is also the process owner for Source to Pay across the procurement and finance functions.

Rob started his procurement career with PepsiCo and was CPO at Tarmac before going on to work on delivering programmes with the Crown Commercial Service blueprint design, Universal Music supply chain, Babcock transformation and Diageo performance management. Combined with prior experience in retail and manufacturing operations, his broad leadership experience makes him influential with stakeholders. He injects energy into sedentary teams through common goals, a belief in empowerment and investing in capability which drives results across the full procurement scorecard. His team at Tarmac were former winners of the CIPS Supplier Relationship Management award.
