She remains an active coach and Board Advisor to businesses globally - from Asia to North America, Europe and South Africa, and is a proud finalist for Global Inspiration Role Model of the Year at 2016 European Diversity Awards.
During the last ten years, she and her teams have majored in creating the sorts of inclusive environments where everyone can be heard and excel, but most importantly in working with businesses globally to have them understand the link between the creation of inclusion, the achievement of tangible business results and the need to link it back to the people agenda.
Angie and her team promote a more radical approach to inclusion and diversity. She has learnt that by being frank, via strategic and not just well-meaning conversations, linking the personal fears and biases of leaders to the reasons for almost inertia in this field – organisations can drive better results. Not just in attaining their diversity targets but also in business success.
She has a strong reputation in the global inclusion arena and has worked with Boards and C-Suites across many firms from State Street to Microsoft, Walmart to Accenture, Cisco to the National Basketball Association. Angie has published articles on the importance of this work in the risk arena and has been quoted in the Financial Times.
Angela is an inspiring speaker - whether working with a small group or addressing very large audiences, her style and approach is always engaging, entertaining and most importantly – valid. She uses storytelling, hard facts and her history in building strategies to ensure her messages hit home and are remembered long after the workshop has ended.
